Open Call for Quilt Designers!!
Open Call for Designers: Deadline EXTENDED to March 15!
We've extended the deadline of our Open Call for quilt designers, now through March 15.
We understand that, due to a technical glitch, some of you had difficulty loading the images into your quilt design software programs. We believe the situation is now corrected, and we invite you to submit your best quilt design for Laura Berringer's SPINTASTIC line. (If you've already submitted a design, you do NOT need to re-enter it.) Thanks for your patience, and we look forward to seeing your designs!

  • Do you have the talent to create gorgeous quilt designs that will inspire others to recreate them?
  • Do you love working with our fabric collections?
  • Do you possess the technical ability to create computer-generated quilt designs, along with clear and accurate instructions, all in a timely manner?
  • Are you fun to work with?

If so, you could be chosen to join our team of quilt designers, and have your work appear on our website and other special projects throughout the year! In order to scout new talent, we've setupacontest open to hobbyists, professionals, consumers and retail shop owners alike.

TO ENTER: Send us your ORIGINAL quilt design based on the new SPINTASTIC collection by LauraBerringer, on or before February 15 March 15, 2012.
[Download the digital files for this collection by selecting this link.  NOTE: ifyou encounter problems importing these files, try importing them one-at-a-time, especially the larger repeats.]

Only fabrics from this collection may be used in the design. Submit your entry via email to lshepard@marcusfabrics.com, including:

  1. A cover email including your contact information, plus quilting background information and references if available.
  2. Attach: Finished quilt and of any diagrams if applicable, in .jpeg format
  3. Attach: Complete instructions in .doc format -- please include yardages and step-by-step instructions.

NOTE: Entries will be chosen based on the overall visual appeal of the design, skilled use of the fabric collection, and accuracy of the instructions.
